My name is Jake and I'm a photographer. I work as a freelance events photographer and also for the Fiji Times newspaper.
I've been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. My father was often taking pictures when I was young and I always remember being fascinated by his cameras.
Growing up in Fiji until the age of 6, and then moving to the UK, photographs became the most important mementos of the life I left behind, and I realised the power they could hold.
My photography style is more on the documentary photography side, as I prefer to capture honest, raw, unfiltered moments compared to posed, perfect shots. My aim is to show that real life is more interesting and beautiful than staged reality.
If you are looking for a documentary style photographer for any event (including wedding photographer, party photographer etc), please get in touch. I am currently based in Northampton, England but am willing to travel.
